Well, here we are in October! It seems that it was just the beginning of summer, and now it's autumn.
It's time to shake out the cobwebs, and get back to your exercise routines. Fall is such a beautiful time...the changing colours, the crisp air, it always feels so good to get outside for your walks , or runs. Try joining me, and a few friends for a Saturday morning walk, we always have a great time, and great conversations!

What's New
This month I'm busy preparing to help out with the Valley Women's Network booth at the West Coast Women's Show....I'll be helping at their booth from noon to 3:00pm on Saturday, October 20th.
I'm very exited about the upcoming Fraser Valley Wedding Festival, being held Sunday, October 28 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Coast Hotel and Convention Center in Langley. I'll be there for the day, so if you, or someone you know is going to be planning a wedding soon, then come on in and check out the show. There'll be vendors ranging from flowers to fitness, and more to help you plan that special day! |

If you're a coffee, or tea drinker, and you put sugar in your beverages, then you most likely don't realize that most of the time you are using about two or three teaspoons of sugar per cup, which is about a tablespoon. So, if you have two cups of coffee a day with sugar, then you may be adding a lot of unnecessary calories to your diet. That's two tablespoons of sugar a day (just in your coffee) which is 83 calories a day.That is equal to about 2,324 calories a month, and 27,888 calories a year, and that's the equivalent to 7.97 pounds! If you need to trim down your weight a little, then you could lose 7.97 pounds in a year just by cutting out sugar in your coffee. |
