Hi Well, it's June, and summer is finally here! Yaaaay!!!!
There's still time to sign up for my Grouse Grind Bootcamp...so hurry, and let me know that you'll be there...Tuesday June 5th. at 7:00pm - see you there! It's going to be great...working out outside in the fresh air - that's what summer is all about. After your workout, you can have a nice refreshing swim in my pool!

Finding the Time! Most of us are so busy with kids, jobs, and keeping a house, that it's sometimes seems impossible to find extra time just for ourselves. Don't feel that if you do things that help you be strong, and give you more energy is selfish...if you want to be there for your family, then you need to look after your physical, and emotional needs too. Putting yourself first is often hard to do, especially if you have younger children, but to feel good about yourself, and to have the energy you need to be there for your family is not a luxury, but a necessity. If you're having trouble fitting in your workout, here are some tips that may help: -Get up a half-hour earlier, and get your workout in -If your mornings are really rushed, get everything ready the night before - including lunches. -Delegate some of the household work in order to make time to exercise. -While your kids are participating in their activities, utilize that time to go for a walk. -If you don't have time for one 30 min. walk, break it down to two or three 10 minute brisk walks over the day. -Tone up with exercises you can do while standing, sitting at your desk, or driving your car. -Just remember - all you have to do is move more - 10 minutes is better than nothing!
