Hi

Wel l l l....it's definitely looking a lot like Christmas! They say we're in for a colder than usual winter, so get ready.
When it's cold and rainy...or snowy, it's time to take your exercise indoors. If you have a treadmill or bike it's a good time to put them back into use.
Now that we are in the Christmas season, try and get in a few extra days of cardio, to combat the extra treats we all invariably have at this time of year!
Speaking of Christmas, if you're thinking of what to get for a friend or family member, how about a gift of health? I have gift certificates available...check it out Gift Certificates on my website.

Destressing

This time of year it can get pretty stressful....shopping, crowds, getting the house ready for Christmas, entertaining.....!
One way to reduce stress and anxiety is to get moving. Studies have shown that as little as 10 minutes of moderate activity a day helps.
A bit of physical activity can help distract you from negative thinking, improve self confidence, & self esteem, and give you an overall feeling of well being.
So, the next time you're feeling stressed, go for a short walk, run up the stairs instead of taking the elevator, and, if you can't find a parking spot close to where you want be, then consider parking further away , and getting a little extra exercise!
You'll definitely feel better for it!
